![To hagiography also I have paid some attention in compiling this catalogue. Notices of two rare saints, Everildis and Jordanus, will be found on pp. 22, 64. I would just note, in conclusion, that the Rotherham Inventory, though mentioned by Hearne^ and Guest-, is not printed by either; and that the York Missal (No. 33) was used for the Surtees Society edition in 1874. Among the pieces of experience which I have gained in making this catalogue, this is one—that there is a large opportunity for displaying ignorance and making mistakes in this class of work. There are several anonymous tracts which I have not identified: it is most probable that those who know more of mediaeval literature than myself will be able to give these to their right authors. I shall be very grateful to any one who will let me know where I have gone wrong, or will supply me with the information which I have lacked the means of obtaining.
