    The Completed Chapel. Obituary. the Preacher being the Right Reverend the Bishop of Exeter (No. 340 in Register). All Subscribers will be invited. In this connection it may be of interest to know that all the side windows in the Chancel (besides one in the Nave) have been erected in memory of Old Bradfield Boys since the publication of the last Register. The list is as follows;— ‘ St. John the Baptist with the Holy Family,’ erected in memory of J. C. Hunter (No. 1479), who died in India in 1904. ‘Christ in the Workshop,’ erected (as was also the window of St. Andrew in the Nave) in memory of Blackall Simonds (No. i), who died in February, 1905. ‘ I'he Presentation of Christ in the Temple,’ erected in memory of Captain Leetham (No. 745), who died in Novem- ber, 1906. ‘ Christ in the Temple with the Doctors,’ erected in memory ol A. L. S. Sellon (No. 1056), who died in October, 1907. For the benefit of those O.B.B. who are abroad, or who are otherwise out of touch with College developments, it may be necessary to record the fact, which is almost universally known, that our Chapel was completed in the interval between 1903 and 1908, by the addition of a Chancel, part of the Nave, and the Tower. The whole cost of the Chapel has been about ^13,000, part of which was defrayed by public subscriptions among O.B.B. and other friends, and part by the'allocation (to the amount of ;^2,ooo) of funds in the hands of the Council. Now that it has been completed, the beauty of its propor- tions have been brought out, and the School may be proud of possessing a Chapel worthy of itself, and second to none of modern date in architectural interest. Since the issue of the Register of 1903 we have had to lament the death (referred to above) of Mr. Blackall Simonds, the first Boy who entered the School in 1850. Mr. Simonds was always a devoted son and friend of the College. He acquired land in the neighbourhood, from the estate of the Founder, soon after the resignation of the latter
