There are other malformations of the pylorus which I may cause obstruction during infancy or in later life. riius there may be complete atresia, as in the cases I recorded by Neale (1) and Lessliaft (2) ; or there may 1 be a simple narrowing of the orifice, which may or I may not be surrounded by a ring-like thickening. 1 HenscheTs (3) cases, referred to below, and those re- « corded by Finkelstein (4) from Heubner’s clinic appear ♦ to be instances of simple stricture.
