    THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF EXPERIMENTAL PATHOLOGY. EDITORIAL NOTICE TO CONTRIBUTORS. Scope of Papers.—This Journal has been founded for the publication of original communications describing the technique and results of experimental researches into the causation, diagnosis and cure of disease in man. Papers upon bacteriological, biochemical, physiological, serological and other subjects are therefore acceptable when bearing directly upon these objects. A section will be devoted to short communications upon new technical methods applicable to those subjects which come within, the scope of the Journal. It is also the intention of the Editors to publish occasional “ critical reviews ” upon pathological subjects which may at the time be in need of critical survey. Such reviews may be of value to workers who are not in touch immediately with considered opinions upon the questions discussed. Forwarding Papers.—Papers should be addressed to— The Editors, British Journal of Experimental Pathology, 28, Gower Place, London, W.C. 1, or to any of the Editors personally. Date of Publication.—The Journal is published bi-monthly, in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Priority of Publication.—Papers accepted for publication will be printed as far as possible in the order of their receipt by the Editors, but those sent from overseas will receive priority in publication according to the date of posting instead of the date of receipt. Conditions of Publication.—Contributors should prepare their manuscripts with the greatest attention to detail. The fact of submitting a paper for publication will be taken by the Editors as an admission by the Author of his liability to pay for all unreasonable alterations made by him in proofs, and for mistakes due to lack of clearness in the preparation of the manuscript. Illustrations and charts will be accepted for publication, but if, in the opinion of the Editors, they are not required to increase the clarity of the argument, they must be paid for b}r the Authors. References.—Authors are requested to prepare their references according to a systematic plan, namely, as given in the Index Catalogue of the Surgeon-General’s Library at Washington. They should be numbered consecutively in the text, and collected at the end of the paper in the same order under “ References.” The initials, title, year, volume and page should all be included. Proofs.—To avoid delay, proofs will not be submitted to Authors overseas unless they express a desire to see them, or unless the Editors think it necessary. Overseas Authors are therefore particularly reminded of the importance of preparing their manuscripts in such a way that error need not arise. Reprints.—25 reprints will be supplied free to authors. Additional copies must be ordered from the Publishers before the issue is printed, and will be charged for according to the following scale: Number of Additional Reprints.
