    It does (I confels) look like a Riddle, th^t a pioft relaxing and flupifying Medicament, which takes away much of the Senfe of Feelings (and con- fequently Irritations to Venery, as one would think) Ihould notwithftanding irritate thereunto, caufe Erectionsy &c. however, it is moft certain, tho* a Teeming Contradiction, of which fort you have many more among the Effects of Opium.
