![Co the Chairman and ITlembers of the Radnorshire County Council. I have the honour to present my seventeenth Annual Report on the Health Administration of the County for the year 1937. Population.—The population estimated for 1937, by the Registrar General, is given on page 5. Brief particulars are also given in connection with change in age distribution. BIRTH Rate.—[Page 7]. The rate for the County was 15'2 [urban districts 14'3, rural 15*5] ; the rate for England and Wales was 14‘9. Information in regard to Marriage Rate was given on pages 9-11 of my Annual Report for 1935, and in con- nection with Fertility Rate on pages 11-14 of the same Report. Death Rate.—[Pages 10-13]. The death rate for the County [corrected by the Comparative Mortality Figure] was 13‘0, compared with 12'4 for England and Wales. Information in regard to death rates, etc., in connection with Early Childhood, School Age and Adolescence, was given on pages 15, 32, and 34 respectively of my Annual Report for 1934, and for ages 25-45, 45-65, 65-75, and 75 years and upwards, on pages 24, 26 and 27, Annual Report for 1935. STILL Births.—Particulars in regard to Still Births are given on page 9. The rate for Still Births per 1,000 total births for the 10 years 1928-37 is 48 [urban 49, rural 49]. MATERNAL MORTALITY.—[Page 17]. Information in regard to the 7 years, 1931-37, showed that the rate for the County was under 4 per 1,000. During this period there were no deaths in the Urban Districts. The rates for the County, and England and Wales, for the 5 yearly period 1931-35, are given INFANTILE MORTALITY.—[Pages 13-15].
