    POSTSCRIPT. It muft no doubt appear ftrange that this Anfwer to Dr J. H.’s printed letters fhould be fo long of appearing. They came forth the 21ft of January. — The unavoidable length of this anfwer, as comprehending fo many particulars and difcuflions, and my own well-known oc- cupation in the Univerfity during the winter months, will in part account tor the delay. But I muft own there was an- other, and a ftronger reafon for it. J.
