    THE “FAVOURITE EXTINCTEUR is a modified form of the older extincteurs, having all the structural improvements of the “ Monarch.” Sizes Nos. i and 2 of this extincteur practically replace the old water bucket, which, being so often used for other purposes than that of extinguishing fire, is apt to be out of reach when wanted. In addition, the water not infrequently is neglected, becomes stagnant, and often is a means of producing and disseminating disease. For these and many other reasons, the small “Favourite ’ Extincteurs are found in practice to be the most reliable, best, and cheapest Fire Extinguishers, next to the “Monarch,’’ yet offered to the public, as the contents can be directed with precision, and with less risk of damage than when a water bucket is used ; and when empty they can be re-charged at a small cost.
