The first or second production of the first press of J. Rubeus, this work consists of 107 ll. (Hain says 109), roman characters, with the Greek passages in a some- what rough type. <A few leaves have been slightly mended in the margins, which are stained throughout, first few pages wormholed, and MS. marginal notes. 240 s.a.l. et typ. n. c. 1480. Quintilianus. Institutiones oratoriae (ex recens. Omniboni Leoniceni), old half russia, wormed Folio Hlain 13644, Proctor 6495. 201 ll. roman characters, with Greek passages. Slightly stained in places, but fine large copy, measuring 12 by 8¢in. Attributed by Proctor to Johannes Rubeus, from whose first press six or seven important works were issued. BOLOGNA.
