Leprosy: peripheral nerve palsy

Unspecified leprosy: complications This is a young boy with multiple, peripheral nerve palsies in leprosy. He is unable to close his left eye fully, due to involvement of the zygomatic branch of the facial nerve. Note also the madarosis (loss of eyebrows).
