In 25 cases, the paroxysms occur at very nearly regular periods of 4, 6, 8, and 12 weeks. Ten of these occurred at nearly regular monthly periods, six at periods of from 6 to 8 weeks. One occurred every other day.—Some every third month, some every fourth, and 2 every 6 months. There are also many cases that occur every year, and many others at periods of 2, 3, 4 and even 10 years.
