* G. PETIT. [No. 7.] Mr. Henry Burford Norman went through his professional studies, at University College, with great assiduity and success, availing himself not only of the Scientific Instruction given in the Class-Rooms of that Institution, but of all the Practical Information which in the capacity of Dresser and House Surgeon, he had the opportunity of gathering in the Hospital. I know that Mr. H. Burford Norman discharged the several duties of these appointments with kindness, skill and integrity ; and such are his attainments in Surgery, and the various branches con¬ nected with it, that I can most conscientiously recommend him as well qualified to perform the duties of Surgeon to any Hospital, or other Public Institution. The experience which he has had in tho practice of his Profession during several years subsequent to his leaving University College and his steady and honourable principles enable me to give him this Testimonial, with the perfect conviction that he is entitled to it.
