    [ ] It appears from the above cafe of Ed- xvard Virgoe, and feveral others which have occurred to me, that Intermittent Fevers which had refifted common Bark and other remedies, have y '^^lded to the Red Bark, even under very complicated and unfavour- able appearances*. In this opinion I am likewlfe juftified by- the experience and tefdmony of many emi- nent pradlitioners, and fo decided are they in its favour, that the demand for it every day increafes, efpecially in fome of the neighbouring counties where Intermittents .are not only more frequent, but more ob- flinate, I began now to fufpedl that its powers.- were even fufficient in cold infufion in mod cafe's to cure Intermittent Fevers, and in all other cafes to anfwer every purpofe which might be expedted from common Peruvian
