BOX 81608 SAN DIEGO,CALIFORNIA 9: <714)455-3000 Dr. Francis Crick is the highly esteemed molecular biologist who along with J. D. Watson and M. II. S. Wilkens spearheaded the discovery of the structure of DNA for which they received the Nobel Prize for medicine in 1962. Dr. Crick has produced over seventy publications on various subjects within the field of molecular biology including the book, Of Molecules and Men . Currently, Dr. Crick is on the Staff at Salk Institute and is engaged in theoretical research on chromosome structures. in his talk on Directed Pan Spermia Dr. Crick will entertain the notion that the seeds of earth-bound life were in fact planted, perhaps intentionally, from an extraterrestrial source—another planet in the galaxy. Dr. Crick will explore this hypothesis from both the molecular biologic and cosmologie points of view, and will propose some provocative thoughts on the vehicle for intergalactic transport of these seeds-of-life. Dr. Crick expressed interest in hearing feedback from MS engineers and physicists on these ideas. Therefore, I strongly encourage everyone to take the opportunity to meet Dr. Crick and participate in an interesting discussion.
