![TWO FORMS OF BEQUEST (1). WHERE MONEY, STOCKS OR SECURITIES ARE CONCERNED I give and bequeath unto the Treasurer or Treasurers for the time being of the British Hospital for Mothers and Babies, which is situated at Woolwich, the sum of.. sterling, free of Legacy Duty. And I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or Treasurers for the time being of the said Hospital shall be a sufficient discharge for the Legacy, which is to be applied to the general purposes of the said Hospital. (2). WHERE LAND OR HOUSES ARE CONCERNED I give unto the Treasurer or Treasurers for the time being of the British Hospital for Mothers and Babies, which is situated at Woolwich, all those lands, houses or premises, known as (here describe them in situation, boundaries, extent, and occupation as nearly as possible) to be sold or held by the said Treasurer or Treasurers, as he or they think proper for the benefit of the said Hospital. [The Will or Codicil giving the Bequest must be signed by the Testator (or Testatrix) in the presence of two witnesses, who must be present at the same time, and subscribe their names and addresses in his (or her) presence, and in the presence of each other.] PAYMENTS OF SUBSCRIPTIONS Subscribers to whom it is convenient are particularly asked to aid the Committee by remitting as early in the year as possible; those having Banking Accounts will find in the Banking Standing Order a very simple and convenient way of arranging for the payment of their Annual Subscription. The Bankers’ Standing Order remains in force until cancelled by death or other causes, and no cheque or other remittance is necessary. Cheques, etc., should be sent to the Hon.
