It is supplementary to, and in some degree corrects, the expense account stated last year. The Com¬ mittee have applied the Balance in hand [£181 7s. 4d.] to the erection of a small greenhouse. This appropria¬ tion, and a further expenditure in the same way of £50 or £60 will, it is hoped, meet the approval of the Bodies in Union. It is intended thereby to secure at a moderate cost a supply of common flowers for making Wards and grounds bright and cheerful, a recognised efficient help in Asylum management.
