![Water Supply The supply of water to the Borough is now the responsibility of the Eastbourne Waterworks Company. This Company utilises three sources for supplying Bexhill Borough with an adequate water supply, and their fluoride content is given below: Station Fluoride as F. p.p.m. Hazard’s Green, Ninfield . . . . . . . . . . o.i Sweet Willow Wood, Ninfield . . . . . . . . . . o.i Cowbeech, Hailshajii . . . . . . . . . . . . o.i These supplies fall below the optimum level of i part (Fluoride) per million which is advised by leading authorities as being necessary to prevent the decay of teeth in the young child. None of the water supplied is plumbo solvent. All supplies are treated in settling tanks and filters, and chlorinated as . part of the treatment process or as a terminal precautionary dose. \\Ater going into supply does not contain less than 0.15 p.p.m. chlorine. All bacteriological and chemical samples taken during the year indicated that the supply was of the highest standard and conformed to the requirements of a public supply.
