![These receive constant attention and every effort made to improve them. There was the usual wanton damage but although this is rather wearing one has learned to live with it. The department is fortunate in having a reliable staff of attendants and this often disagreeable work is done cheerfully and often in the face of some unreasonable complaints. Caravan and Tented Sites There are 20 licensed sites giving accommodation for 334 caravans and 106 tents. Once again I am pleased to record that all the sites were properly controlled and no complaints were received. The new sanitary block at Lower Barnhorn Farm was completed and hts unobtrusively into this delightful spot. After many years of waiting for sewer and water supply, the Central Site is being equipped vcith water closets, showers and washing facilities under the new management. The previous owner, Mr. J. C. C. Smith, always kept this site in perfect order and for this I am indebted to him.
