    Trade Regulations Do trade regulations and standard wages differ from branch to branch? Give the place and state particulars of the minimum and maximum “trade privileges” enforced by the union with regard to (a) Hours; (b) Wages; (c) Method of remuneration. What proportion of branches have their privileges formally embodied in bye-laws, working rules, standing orders, or other agreements? What regulations exist as to the number of apprentices, and do these differ in different localities? Do your members, in practice, refuse to work with non- unionists? General State any criticisms that are made upon the constitution or working of your society. Can you suggest any improvement in it? What Parliamentary legislation has been in the past advo¬ cated or supported by your society? Are there any further changes in the law desired by your society? Please supply any printed papers relating to your union that you can spare, such as reports, rules, bye-laws, circulars, lists of prices, etc. Disputes State dates and particulars of important disputes since the formation of the union, involving cessation of labour— (a) General; (b) Local; (c) At individual works. Will you state approximately the total number during the past year of disputes between your members and their em¬ ployers, involving cessation of work, whether authorised or not? State occasions and particulars when the executive has differed from branch or district respecting a dispute. G
