    FORM OF BEQUEST / give and beqiieatJi unto the Treasiirev for the time being of The Lebanon Hospital for the Insane, London Office: 35 Queen Victoria Street, London, E.C., tJie sum of - Pounds sterling; to be paid with all convenient speed after my decease [free of Legacy Duty]; and the Receipt of such Treasurer for the time being of the said Society shall be a sufficient discharge for the said Legacy. If a Testator wishes the Legacy not to be paid free of duty, the words in brackets should be omitted. NOTE.—Under the Mortmain and Charitable Uses Act, 1891, land may now be given by Will to the Society, and the provision formerly inserted in Wills directing Charitable Legacies to be paid out of pure personalty are now unnecessary. By the Act, land given for charitable purposes by Will, has to be sold within one year from the Testator's death, or such extended time aa may be allowed by the Court or the Charity Commissioners.
