![LIBRARY OF PRINCIPAL LEE. TO THE EDITOR OF THE MORNING POST. Sir,—Will you allow us, as agents for the representatives of the la Very Rev. Principal Lee, of the University of Edinburgh, in correctid, of a statement which recently appeared in your paper, to mention thr it was only a portion (and the works chiefly duplicates) of the extensiv and valuable libraiy of the Principal which was sold some years age He retained until his death the most valuable portion, to which 1: continued to make additions both of books and manuscripts. It is the intention of his representatives to expose his library to sa;. early next winter. There are other mistakes in the article containing the above stato ment, but we will not encroach on your space by pointing out an . asking correction of these. We remain, &c., W. and J. By them a libraiv understood to be the library of Dr. Lee was sold. There was som - inaccuracy in the dates we assigned to Dr. Lee’s official -connectio' with St. Andrew’s and Aberdeen, but essential facts and inference were not thereby affected.
