Son round, villous, dorsally inserted on the lowest, simple veinlet: receptacle fiat, no in- dusium.—Stems low, “ subccespilose.fi unarmed: leaves 3-pinnatisecl: secondary segments decurrent, tertiary pinnatipartite, quaternary with free, simple, pinnate, ‘3-i-jugal veinlets. 323. CYATHEA, Sm, Sori globose, inserted into the back or at the forking of a veinlet: indusinm complete, closed at first dehiscent: receptacle prominent.—Veiidets pinnate, free, forked, or simple.
