![3.5 So far as is possible cases of Phthisis are kept under oosernation and visited as frequently as possible and during the year 291 visits were paid to such cases. Owing to shortage of staff and pressure of other work it was not found possible ’to visit these cases as frequently as one wished but in future it is hoped to visit each case at least once in six weeks. Those patients in attendance at the Dispensary will be visited at longer intervals to ensure that they are still under observation. The work is carried on in close co-operation with the West Riding Tuberculosis Dispensary, and every effort is made to get those patients who are not receiving medical treatment to attend the dispensary. Suspicious cases among school children are also referred to the dispensary by the School Medicau Officer.
