Description
The bottles are labelled 'burg' (burgundy wine), 'claret' and 'champ'ne' (champagne). In the man's pocket is a pamphlet inscribed 'An humble address to the K(ing)'. On signing of addresses to the King which were allegedly influenced by Bute. The association of the man's crutch and the presence of alcohol suggests he suffers from gout
