    er THE INTRODUCTION. of Fo ODS 77 general, VER Y Thing that is proper for recruiting the Decays of the folid or fluid Parts of our Body, deferves the Name of Food; and ac- cording to this Definition, the Air ought to be Jook’d upon as real Food, and that which is moft of all neceflary for us. In fhort, there isno Body but muft be fenfible, of the indifpenfible Need we have of it every Moment, for the Prefervation of -our Life and Health.
