At the middle years of life, viz:—15-45 years of age, out of a total of 121 deaths registered for the Borough, 30, or nearly one-fourth, were due to Phthisis alone. The accompanying chart shews the Annual Death-rate from Phthisis in Hornsey for the past 19 years, 1896-1914:—
