    \yhich are already faturated with them- Its Effects externally, both in Lotion and Bathing, may in a great Meafure depend upon the fame ; lince it is paft all Doubt, that Fluids may enter the Body this way by the abforbing Veffels ; and that thofe will be mod; eafdy admitted which are pureft and lead loaded with heterogeneous Particles. And as Waters which are full ol ftyptic or infoluble Earths, are well known to occafion glandular Obflrudions; fo, vice versa, pure elementary Wa¬ ter, feems to be the raoft efficacious pf all Remedies in thefe Diforders §.
