    4 which He ufes to bathe every Day 4 with Malvern Water, before He 4 applies his other Drefimgs to it, 4 The Water, when ufed alone, 4 frequently made the Ulcer fmart 4 to a Degree which He was not 4 able to bear, until he added a 4 certain Proportion of common 1 Water to it; but when the Mal- 4 vern Water was thus diluted with 4 River or other foft Water, He * could bear it very well ’. This remarkable Obfervation, has been iince confirmed to me by Dr. Turton, a very eminent Phyfician of Bir¬ mingham *, ywho himfelf alfo felt a very fenfible Effedt from this Water, different from that of a common Spring.
