Inflammatory Fever. (Synocha.) 1. WHts of the inflammatory kind, to the more neral appearances of Fever, there is added an anxi- f] or particular uneafy fenfation referred to the region the ftomach ; fome degree of pain in the back and ad, affecting the eye balls, which appear inflamed, fufed, and impatient of light, with a rigor or Ihiver- proportioned to its violence. 2. Thefe firft fymptoms are fucceeded by vertigo, or ne flight confulion of head, general latitude, with- : much debility, the body feeling as if bruifed, want appetite, anorexia, and impaired fleep, or without refliment ; towards evening an exacerbation, de- led by an increafed frequency of pulfe, takes place, preternatural heat of the (kin, being dry and parch - at the fame time, prevails, with great thirft and high oured urine ; and the refpiration is fomewhat impe- •!.
