Au Act to consolidate and amend the Law relating to the Public Health in Scotland.—[15th August 1867.] Whereas it is expedient to consolidate and amend the laws applicable to Scotland for removal of nuisances, for prevention of diseases, and for sanitary purposes generally: Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : Preliminary. Short Title. 1. This Act may be cited for all purposes as the Public Health (Scotland) Act, 1867. Objects of Act.— It consolidates into one Act the whole Statute Law relating to the public health.
