Photograph of a microscope produced by Nachet et Fils, Paris and used by Louis Pasteur during his experiments on spontaneous generation. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1927 and accessioned in 1939 (accession number R1119/1939). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
