![COCKERMOUTH URBAN DISTRICT. To the Chairman and Members of the Coefcermooth Urban District Council. G-ENTLEMf^N, I have pleasure in presenting my First Annual Report to your Council. As will be seen from the report tiie death rate and infantile mortality rate for the year are regrettably high. The lesson to be learned from tliis is that everything possible should be done to make the town as healthy and sanitary as possible. I have to thank the Sanitary Inspector, Mr. Reilly, for his help in compiling some of the statistics for this report, more especially with regard to Housing In- spections; and ] take this opportunity of thanlring all those who have in any way aided me in my work as Medical Officer of Health for the town.
