![37 PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER, INFECTIOUS AND OTHER DISEASES. During the year under review 2,467 cases of notifiable infectious diseases occurred as compared with 3,605 in the previous year. The following table shows the incidence of the various diseases and it will be seen that 1944 was not ' 'a measles year.''
