![OFFICESo SHOPS AND RAILWAY PREMISES ACT, 1965 The general work under the Act for the year under review has not shown anything of outstanding conse- quence* and the conditions found in most premises* and the co-operation of the many employers have generally teen satisfactory. Most of the contraventions found during the year were drawn to the attention of the responsible persons and the matters were rectified without recourse to legal action. The notification of accidents in offices and shops within the jurisdiction of this department numbered seven* of which I am pleased to report that none were fatal.
