Grams 1 litre of above mixture = 1.4726 1 litre of dry air = 1.2932 Weight counterpoise for 20 per cent by weight = 0.1794 To change percentage by weight to percentage by volume, using above data: 20 per cent by weight of ether = 6.044 L. Total volume ether-air mixture = 67.907 L. , . 6044 • 20 per cent by weight = gy = 8.90 per cent by volume.
