Description
Right, a bronze lamp in the form of a chariot drawn by bulls, excavated in the Palazzo Caetani (subsequently Palazzo Ruspoli: A. Amendola, I Caetani di Sermoneta, Rome 2010). Left, a caliciform lamp in the museum of Athanasius Kircher

Lucerna ant.a di bronzo fatta per appendersi, come lo dimostrano le sue catene, e l'uncino Questa lucerna è stata ritrovata l'anno 1773 negli escavi fatti nel cortile del palazzo del ecc.mo signor Francesco Gaetani duca di Sermoneta situato a S. Maria Mag.e. K. Lucerna, che si conserva nel museo Kirkeriano del collegio Romano.
