Description

Unspecified leprosy: complications This image shows an ulcer over the base of the middle finger, exposing the flexor tendon. There appears to be a tendon space infection, with a connecting sinus to the palmar skin. The initial trauma may have been from a burn, unnoticed by the patient. The hand is anaesthetic due to leprosy.
