The health of the Patients has been generally good. In the last quarter there have been several cases of measles among the Servants and one among the Patients, the first time, it is believed, that the County Asylum has been visited by that complaint since its establishment. Out of 38 Patients —1 aupers and Non-Paupers discharged—33 had recovered, and 5 were relieved. 1 he conduct of the Officers, Attendants, and Servants has been most satisfactory throughout the year, with the exception of one f emale Attendant, who was discharged for disobedience to orders. 3 he Chaplain, the Rev. J. B. Hyson, entered on the occupation of that part of the old Mansion House, at Forston, which had been put in order for him in the early ])art of last summer. Mr. Case, of Dorchester, has undertaken to play the Harmonium at the services in the Chapel, at the salary of £30 per annum. Di. Henr\ George Walker, of London, was appointed in August last to the office of Assistant Medical Officer, to reside at forston, in the room of Air. Clark, resigned. He entered upon the discharge of his duties early in the month of September.
