The Girls fhall be carefully taught in the Arc of Spin¬ ning and Houfe-wifery, whereby they will be fitted to be Servants in Families ; Pelions fhall be encouraged who are capable to e- ducate themfor iuchPurpofes;and ’tis hoped Care will be taken to inftrucf them in the Principles of the Chriftian Religion,and how to remember their Creator in the Days of their Youth. The raffing a Fund for fo great and good a Work, and geting an Hofpital built, may appear very difficult to fome ; but how¬ ever difficult it may feem to others, it ap¬ pears toberioDifficulty to me* If we will ufe the ordinary Means,it will be very eafy to fo many as may contribute to it,we conftant- ly relying on Divine Condud, for except the Lord build the Houje, the ‘Builders lojs their Tains. And we fhould always have in View the Lord’s wounderful Providence in the Beginning, and carrying on, that fa¬ mous Hofpital at Hall, which I recommend both as our Pattern, and for Motives and Encouragement to go in this good Work.
