No other name or (|ualilication otiier than the title of i)harmacist can apiiear thereon without the authorization of the i)rovincial medical commis- sion, exce])t n])on sijccialties, when the stamp of the maiinfactui'er may be affixed in juxtaposition with tlie name of tiie pharmacist. No other business can be carried on in the laboratory. If, however, the ])harma('ist is also engaged in the drug business, he is alh)wed to keep his drugs in his laboratory. Pharmacists are prohibited from delivering medicines indicated as poisonous otherwise than on j)re- scriptiou written and signed by a doctor, veterinary pharmacist, or by a person honorably known, who must state the use for whi«'h the poisou is required. The druggist is confined to the retail trade of drugs and other com- mercial objects, as well as chemical ])roducts, employed in medicine, and also used in various trades. All simple substances used in medicine, but which have not been subjected to any pharmaceutical prep.iration whatever, are rated as drugs. Druggists are prohibited from selling or exposing for snle any pharmaceutical preparation, composition, or specialty; mixing simple medicaments, preparing remedies, or prescriptions written by practi- tioners or others. The law regulating the sale of poisons by pharmacists is also appli- cable to druggists authorized to sell poisons. Druggists are subjected to the same regulations as pharmacists as concerns store, residence, name on sign, labels, and bills. 3 AND 4. EXPORTS OF DRUGS AND MEDICINES.
