Membrane spikes and ruffles on fibroblasts

Fibroblst cells in culture. They have been stained with DAPI to show the nuclei in blue and the actin component of the internal cell skelelton is shown in yellow. The cell membranes show features called spkes and ruffles - these are associated with cell movement.
