Description

The education of Cupid by Mercury, or vice versa: Cupid, with large wings, points to a page in a book held by Mercury. Bottom left, paint brushes in a palette, a musical pipe, scores and books. Cupid has a quiver of arrows around his shoulder and another full quiver hangs from a tree. Behind, a tempietto in which is a statue of a goddess
