Saline sulphurous v>^aters. Special indications: Skin diseases. Only used by the resi- dents. Agua'tio.—Italy, near Na])les, connected liy tramway. Sulpho-aluminous and saline springs, 122° F. The lake of Agnajio contains various springs, which owe their origin to the condensation of steam from the volcanic soil. The Grotta di Cane, with its emanations, proves, however, a greater attraction to visitors than the waters. .Agon.—France, Department of La Manche, from Paris via Coutances. Seabaths ; sandy beach ; increasing in popularity. Aguas-Caiientes.—Mexico, State of Zacatecas. Sulphurous waters, 214° F. They give rise to the river of Aguas-Calientes. Agaas de Camangilas.—Mexico, State of Guanaxuato. Sulphurous water, 228° F., only slightly mineralised. Aguilar del Rio Alhama.—Spain, province of Logrono, near Cervera. Suliihurous waters ; also a ferruginous spring. Special indications • Skin and syphilitic diseases, and chlorosis and amenhorroea. AMolo (or Anclaialc).—Turkey, about 55 miles from Constantinople, coast of Roiimelia, on the Black. Sea. Saline ferruginous waters, 100° F. Special indications : Abdominal affections, amenorrhoea, scrofula, &c. Alas.—Turkey, Asia Minor, between Constantinople and Angora. Sulphurous and cuprous waters.
