Woodcut title, white on black ground, printed on first and last pages. With many woodcut illustrations:—A large cut (used six times throughout the work) of St. Jerome seated at a desk reading to an assemblage of all classes; and forty small cuts depicting incidents drawn from the text, doing duty for one hundred and fifty-five wlustrations.
