![It is desirable that the covering of the storage reservoirs should be considered as contamination can take place without hindrance. The maximum quantity of water pumped in one day was 5955^00 gallons. The undertaking supplies the whole of the Urban District and the village of c-risthorpe in the Scarborough Rural District. Ho major extensions took place during the year; 16 new houses were provided with water and other work included a new 6” main on Foreshore Road and erection of chlonnator house and plant at Rosedale reservoir to treat water flowing back from the storage reservoirs into the mains.
