Correspondence regarding a Symposium on the 'Organization and Expression of [the] Eukaryotic Genome', held at the University of Teheran, 3-6 May, 1976. Crick chaired a session on 'Chromatin Structure'.

The file includes symposium programme, list of participants, a series of notes (holograph) on many of the speakers, and a paper (typescript) by K Javherian.

Also included are Crick's itinerary for 23 April - 15 May, 1976, and several pages of discussion-transcript (typescript) which appear to relate to another meeting (a discussion on the origin of life on Earth, involving Crick, Sagan, Orgel, Gold, Ginzburg, Lee and Minsky).
