Special note should be made of British, Roman, and Saxon interments occurring in the same field, and other signs of successive occupation. Reference should be made to the article 'Archeology' in Notes and Queries on Anthropology, p. 176. These relate to England only. The sub-committees for other parts of the United Kingdom will prepare modified lists.
