![In anfwer to this it might be fufficient Ch ap to fay, with Hippocrates, that this very I- Difagreement amongft Phyficians is a Proof of the Reality of the Art. For if there was no fuch thing as an Art of Medicine, no Syftem of Precepts, or Rule of Practice for the Artift to be directed by, there would not be good and bad Phyficians as there now are, but all of them would be alike ignorant and unfkilful, and the Cure of the Sick would depend upon Chance alone.
