A case of blood-poisoning developing as an axillary abscess, and followed by paralysis of Serratus magnus. Author's holograph MS.  London  In this MS. the author described his own illness, which he had contracted in the dissecting room at the Charing Cross Hospital. As a result he was left with a permanently weakened shoulder.
