![CALIFORNIA HEDICAL COLLEGE 1466 FOLSOM ST., BETWEEN TENTH AND ELEVENTH The twenty-sixth Annual Session of the California Medical College opened Monday, the 5th day of October, 1903, and continues eight months, closing on Wednesday, the 18th day of May, 1904. Special attention is given to Materia Medica and Therapeutics. Students are instructed as to specific indications for the use of medicines, enabling them to prescribe with intelligence and certainty, when a specific diagnosis has been made, founded upon the symptomatic expressions of disease, and verified by clinical observations and chemical and microscopical tests. At the same time, every branch of medicine and surgery is fully presented, embracing all the latest theories and discoveries. Recognizing Dental Medicine and Surgery as a branch of Medicine, a complete and thorough course in that specialty has been added to the curriculum. The College maintains a large dental infirmary under the charge of a professor. The infirmary is open the entire year and affords students unlimited resources for clinical work and the study of special cases. Students receive personal instruction in Dental Surgery and have the opportunity of becoming familiar with difficult cases by actual work upon patients. FACULTY D. MACLEAN, M.
